Since the age of 15 I have endured severe rheumatoid arthritis that basically effects every bone in my arms and legs. In 2008 it got so bad that I had to go to India and get both of my elbows and my left knee replaced due to lack of insurance for my pre-existing condition. Recently my right elbow failed and needed to be revised. Elbow replacements are rare so my surgeon instructed me to fly to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota where they preform the surgeries more often.
The surgery was a success but there was collateral damage. Basically, I have not been able to straighten my arms for years and during the surgery they have to force the elbow as straight as they can. This forced straightening caused a traction injury to my median nerve and I am currently unable to feel or move my right thumb, index, and middle finger which means I cannot draw. The nerve is in tact but it will take a long time before I have full use of my hand.
Due to medical costs I will be releasing SVMMONING SICKNESS through crowdfunding on Kickstarter or Indiegogo. It should be up for pre order by next week along with more teaser images. Please share the images from the book and help me get this thing out there.
Thanks, you folks are the best!

David’s Elbow (Healing), 2014.
David has always been a good friend to me. We travelled all the way to Atlanta once to see Ty Segall & Thee Oh Sees, one of the best shows of my life. He’s always inspired me with his own art and It really hurt to hear this news. Follow him on Tumblr and keep up with this crowd funding effort when it comes up. It would me then world to me and I know David would really appreciate it.
